Support Black-Owned Businesses this Small Business Saturday
Small Businesses are part of what keeps Portland the unique, fun city it is. November is a great month for shopping in PDX, and an even better time to use your money to support BIPOC and LGBTQ+ owned businesses that tend to lose sales to big-box stores around the holidays. This OJ Blog will list five Black-Owned Portland Businesses that you can support this Small Business Saturday.
1) Ecovibe
Ecovibe has two locations throughout Portland selling sustainable apparel, plants, house and kitchenware. According to the store’s website, “We are always mindful of the environmental, ethical, and social impact of the products we carry. We are proud to donate a portion of every sale to local environmental and social nonprofits and are committed to supporting important social causes in our community and beyond. “
2) Gracious Tees
Gracious Tees is a locally owned apparel and literature company with a social cause. According to the company’s website, “Gracious Tees advocates for all women to know their worth by providing the necessary tools for life changing discovery through apparel and literature.”
3) Ouvita Skincare
This local PDX luxury skincare is perfect for the person in your life who has everything and loves taking great care of themselves.
4) N’Kassi Boutique
N’Kassi proudly brings couture African fashions to Portland as well as promotes community building initiatives at every turn.
